We built Boostur to help small businesses grow — not to collect or sell your data. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how we protect it. We keep it plain English on purpose.

1. Who We Are

Boostur.ai is a digital marketing platform based in Houston, Texas, operated by Cypress Global Services Inc. We provide website design, SEO, social media management, content creation, and related digital marketing services to small businesses. We also operate the following free tools available to all users:

  • Boostur Card (card.boostur.ai) — a digital business card and contact-sharing tool.
  • Boostur Meet (meet.boostur.ai) — an appointment scheduling tool with Google Calendar integration.

References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy mean Boostur.ai and all products operated under the boostur.ai, card.boostur.ai, and meet.boostur.ai domains. You can reach us at hello@boostur.ai with any privacy-related questions.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information differently depending on how you interact with our platform:

A. Boostur.ai — Main Website

  • Contact Form: name, email address, phone number, business name, and your message.
  • Free Analysis Form: business name, name, email address, website URL, industry, marketing challenges, and business goals.
  • Client Dashboard: business profile details, social media handles, brand information, and any content or files you upload as part of our service delivery.
  • Billing: payment information is collected and processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers on our servers.

B. Boostur Card (card.boostur.ai)

  • Card owners: display name, pronouns, short bio, profile photo, and links you add to your card (social handles, website, email, phone, etc.).
  • Card visitors: when someone visits a Boostur Card page, they are asked to enter their name, email address, and optionally their phone number before viewing the card. This information is stored and shared with the card owner. Visitors receive a confirmation email containing the card owner's contact details and an invitation to create their own free card.
  • Visitor cookie: after submitting the gate form, a cookie named bai_card_visitor is set in the visitor's browser and expires after 1 year. This cookie allows returning visitors to view the same card without re-entering their details. It contains only a random token — no personal data.

C. Boostur Meet (meet.boostur.ai)

  • Calendar owners: availability settings, meeting preferences, timezone, and Google account connection details (see Section 8).
  • Bookers: when someone books a meeting, we collect their name, email address, location, and any notes they provide. This information is stored in our database and shared with the meeting host. Bookers receive a confirmation email with meeting details and a calendar invite.
  • Booking data: meeting date, time, duration, Google Meet link (if applicable), and cancellation/reschedule status.

D. Technical Data (all products)

  • IP addresses logged with form submissions for spam prevention.
  • Standard server access logs retained for up to 90 days.

We do not use tracking pixels, behavioral advertising networks, or third-party analytics that follow you across other websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit solely for the following purposes:

  • To deliver the service or tool you requested (analysis, card setup, meeting booking, etc.).
  • To send transactional emails — confirmations, notifications, booking details, and contact cards.
  • To share your contact details with the Boostur Card or Boostur Meet owner whose page you visited or whose meeting you booked — this is the core function of those tools and is disclosed at the point of data collection.
  • To contact you about our services if you have expressed interest.
  • To improve our platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage data.
  • To comply with legal obligations if required.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Ever.

4. Email Communications

When you submit a form, book a meeting, or visit a Boostur Card page, you will receive one or more transactional emails relevant to that action. These are not marketing signups. If we later want to send you marketing communications, we will ask for your explicit consent separately.

Boostur Card visitors who receive an invitation to create their own free card can ignore that invitation — there is no further follow-up if they do not sign up.

You can opt out of any email from us at any time by replying with "unsubscribe" or contacting us at hello@boostur.ai.

5. Cookies

We use the following cookies across our products:

  • boostur_contact / boostur_analysis — set after form submission on boostur.ai to prevent duplicate submissions. Contains no personal data. Expires after 48 hours.
  • bai_card_visitor — set on card.boostur.ai after a visitor submits the gate form. Contains a random token used to recognize returning visitors so they don't have to re-enter their details. Expires after 1 year. HttpOnly and cannot be accessed by JavaScript.
  • Session cookies — used on boostur.ai and meet.boostur.ai to maintain your login session while you use the dashboard. Expire when you close your browser or log out.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or persistent analytics cookies.

6. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in a password-protected MySQL database hosted on a private server (Dreamhost VPS, Houston region). We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), restricted database access, and regular backups.

Google OAuth tokens for Boostur Meet are stored encrypted and are only used to interact with Google Calendar on behalf of the connected user. They are never shared with third parties.

No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Form submissions and lead records: retained for up to 3 years.
  • Client records: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 3 years for legal and billing purposes.
  • Boostur Card visitor records: retained indefinitely to provide the card owner with their contact history. Visitors may request deletion at any time.
  • Boostur Meet booking records: retained for 2 years after the meeting date.
  • Google OAuth tokens: deleted immediately when you disconnect your Google account from Boostur Meet.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@boostur.ai.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in delivering our platform:

  • Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions. Stripe processes card details directly and we never receive or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
  • Google Calendar API & Google Meet — used by Boostur Meet when you choose to connect your Google account. We request read access to your calendar (to check availability) and write access to create and delete individual events (to confirm and cancel bookings). We generate Google Meet links via the Calendar API. We do not access, read, or store the content of your calendar events — only free/busy time data. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your Boostur Meet settings, which immediately revokes our access and deletes your stored tokens.
  • Email delivery — sent via SMTP through our domain mail server. Your email address is used only to send you the communication you requested.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other behavioral tracking tools on any of our websites.

9. Boostur Card — Notice to Visitors

If you have visited a Boostur Card page and entered your contact details, please be aware of the following:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number (if provided) are stored by Boostur and shared with the person whose card you viewed.
  • You will receive one email with the card owner's contact details and a link to their card page.
  • You may also receive one invitation to create your own free Boostur Card. This is a single email — we do not send ongoing marketing unless you sign up.
  • You can request deletion of your visitor record at any time by emailing hello@boostur.ai with the card URL you visited.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data from our records.
  • Opt out of any marketing communications at any time.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent — including disconnecting your Google account from Boostur Meet at any time.
  • Data portability — request a copy of the data we hold about you in a common format.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed at business owners and are not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website or tools after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
